Reserve "Chicaque": Cloud forest near to Bogota, formed by associations of Oak Quercus humboldtii, where you will appreciate more than 214 species of birds, some of which are endemic as the Black Inca Coeligena prunellei.

Guayabetal: Few hours from Bogota, we can found one of the last relics of cloud forest, which are southeast of the eastern cordillera. Here you can enjoy endemic species as the Flame-winged Parakeet Pyrrhura calliptera and Cundinamarca Antpitta Grallaria kaestneri.

Wetland "La Conejera": It is one of the largest wetlands in the city and is surrounded by urban and rural lands. It is fed by the salitrosa creek, which was born in the Conejera hill, and is connected with the Bogota river on the western. There you will have the opportunity to watch species such as the Bogota Rail Rallus semiplumbeus, the Spor-flanked Gallinule Gallinula melanops and the Silvery-throated Spinetail Synallaxis subpudica.

Artificial Wetlands of the river Siecha valley: These artificial wetlands formed by the abandonment of gravel, had been colonized by aquatic vegetation that has allowed the arrival of species such as the Bogota Rail Rallus semiplumbeus, the Andean Duck Oxyura jamaicensis and the Spot-flanked Gallinule Gallinula bogotensis. In arid areas of the surrounding, is possible see the Spot-billed Ground Tyrant Muscisaxicola maculirostris.

Wetland "Juan Amarillo": together with the Conejera wetland is one of the largest wetlands of Bogotá. It is located in the northwest of the city and can be observed easily endemic species as the Apolinar´s Marsh-Wren Cistothorus Apolinari and the Bogota Rail Rallus semiplumbeus and threatened species like the Subtropical Doradito Pseudocolopterix acutipennis.

Reserve "Montaña del Oso": located in the Yerbabuena village, in the eastern hills surrounding the city, you can visit the cloud forest and the subparamo regions typicals of the high Andes. During the tour you can see endemic species such as the Silvery-throated Spinetail Synallaxis subpudica and the Rufous-browed Conebill Conirostrum rufum, as well as representative species of the forests surrounding the city as the Clarinero Anisognathus igniventris. The tour ends with a beautiful view of the city.

Reserve "Tunos": is located in San Antonio, near to famous Tequendama waterfalls. There are areas of cloud forest and rocky outgoing that are home to several species of swifts. It is possible to see species like the Long-tailed Sylph Aglaiocercus kingi, the Collared Inca Coeligena torquata and the Flame-faced Tanager Tangara parzudakii.

Natural National Park Chingaza: is the nearest national park of Colombia to the capital. We can see the high forest and paramo ecosystems, as well species as the Coppery-bellied Puffleg Eriocnemis cupreoventris and the Black-chested Buzzard-Eagle Geranoaetus melanoleucus.

Natural National Park Sumapaz: is the second national park of Colombia close to the capital. We can see a huge paramo and special species as the Apolinar´s Marsh-Wren Cistothorus Apolinari, Tawny Antpitta Grallaria quitensis, and also the Black-chested Buzzard-Eagle Geranoaetus melanoleucus.

Pedro Palo Lagoon: located one hour southwest of the city, was one of the cult site most important for ancient indigenous communities and the first trips of the Royal Botanical Expedition in 1783. There you can see the Black Inca Coeligena prunellei and the Turquoise Dacnis Dacnis hartlaubi.

Enchated Garden: located one hour and half west of the city, in San Francisco, Colombia. You may see such a amazing hummingbirds all the ways. Nice place to take easy pictures of them. You will see one of the hardest hummingbird the Chaetocercus heliodor Gorgeted Woodstar and Indigo-capped Hummingbird Amazilia cyanifrons.

Tabacal Lagoon: located 30 min from the Enchated Garden, is a natural place sacred where lived the native Paches who used to cultivate tabacco. It is certainly a an excellent place to look for Velvet-fronted Euphonia, Slate-headed Tody-Flycatcher, Plain-colored Manager, Rosy Thrush-Tanager and Rusty-breasted Antpitta.
